In the Bible’s Book of Ruth, you are introduced to one of the world’s most beautiful stories of human solidarity, the first woman’s support group in the Bible, Naomi and Ruth.
Naomi’s Table is a support ministry of hope and healing for widows. Everyone in this group knows the trials, fears, grief and heavy heart each woman carries in those first days of this long walk. Our group consists of women on this journey for a few weeks to many years. Naomi’s Table hopes to support each woman in the process of becoming the woman God has created and called her to be, following this significant change in her life. Whether you are in the beginning stages of grief, feeling shattered, numb and confused, somewhere in the middle, or fully restored and walking in the Grace of God’s will.
We meet the second Thursday of each month to share a meal and fellowship. We take turns in providing a portion of a meal and your turn comes up only two times a year! Every few months we have a special event.
It has been said that Naomi’s Table is the “club” no one wants to join but is glad it is there when they need it.
