After 30 years of working in the business world, paying the bills, and raising a daughter along with his wife Karrie, God called Clair into full time ministry. He felt surely God couldn't be saying what he thought he was hearing, for he felt unworthy of the call. 

As always, God knows what is best, and Clair said "yes" to the call. He has committed his life to serving God and His people, locally and abroad.

Clair was appointed to Christ Community UMC in July 2014. He previously served four other churches. Parishioners have always appreciated that Clair knows what it is like to live in the "real world" and has faced many of the same struggles as they have.
